Dental Transparent Strips

Dental transparent strips are matrix bands made of thin, strong, clear plastic or cellulose that contour restorative materials to the natural shape of a tooth during dental procedures. They ensure complete polymerization of light-cured and some self-cure composites by allowing light to pass through, while their flexibility allows them to be drawn tightly around the tooth for excellent marginal adaptation. Available in various sizes and shapes, they are used for Class II and III restorations (like fillings) and can also be used to form temporary crowns.
